Mission statement
Every kid should get to play something.
Seven of us run this, and we are all Palo Alto teenagers. We teach piano, violin, and viola at Mitchell Park Community Center on weekends. Nobody pays for lessons and nobody pays to perform. We do not ask what a family earns, and we do not ask whether a kid has played before. Wanting to try is the whole requirement.
You learn in a room with other kids
Practising is easier when you are not doing it alone.

Seven of us, plus the families and volunteers who turn up early to set out chairs.
